A fund writes cheques. An agency writes code. A lab does both, as one team.

We began as wGrow Ventures. In practice we were doing more than investing: our engineers were designing, shipping and running the product next to the founder. "Labs" is the more accurate name. We work from a hypothesis, build it for real, test it against evidence and turn what works into a company.

The building is what makes us different. The funding is still real. For selected ventures we invest seed capital directly and then help line up the next round, so you don't have to raise money before you can build.

Every lab venture is built by wGrow Technologies, a Singapore engineering studio that has shipped and maintained production systems for government bodies, hospitals, law firms and multinationals since 2008. In 2026 the studio re-formed around AI agent crews. Founders in the lab work with the same people.

We designed and built AquaMind, an agentic expert team. It sends each case to specialist agents for water quality, microbiology, disease and nutrition, checks their reasoning against published evidence and escalates high-stakes calls for human expert sign-off. In production, a crew of four agents and two wGrow engineers runs WaterDoctor's adaptive treatment loops, with a release every week.
